Dreams are the way our unconscious mind communicates with us. The unconscious (the soul) is how you are guided in your waking moments and in your dreams. Most of us are not aware of our unconscious during our busy waking moments and so it is in our dream state that we may receive the guidance and messages of our soul.
Your soul quietly reflecting to you the wisdom of your life is how aspects of your future is revealed.
Have you ever felt a certain knowing about a future part of your life? There is no rational explaination for how you know this, but the unwavering sense of direction about a particular future time in your life remains strongly with you.
Keep a dream journal …. as this will only encourage your unconscious mind to communicate with you more, stimulating more dreams - more insight – more answers and guidance.
What do your dreams explain and reveal? What symbols and meanings are the path to important messages and answers to your current life dilemnas?
Do you record and analyze your dreams as your unconscious working to help you? Understanding the symbolic nature of your dreams helps you to proceed in life with greater assurance. Look for patterns and themes if you are keeping a dream journal and note how your dreams often provide important information about the future.
Dreams are another reminder of our true nature as being of energy – and the unlimited potential of our minds to take us wherever we might imagine.
Dreams are the hidden potential of our unconscious to reveal unresolved issues, suggest powerful solutions to life issues we are facing, and to reveal the world beyond what we see with our eyes.
If you are someone who doesn’t remember their dreams, it may be for two reasons:
First, if you already meditate regularly, you will receive much of your guidance in your waking moments. Your dream state may be less ‘active’ since you already have a direct path to your unconscious mind.
Second, notice if you are willing and open to exploring your dreams. To make your dream life a reality, you must willingly decide you are ready to receive the information of your unconscious. Before bed, consider the problem or issue you want help with and ‘Ask’ for the divine guidance you need. Be patient as it may still be a few more ‘dreamless’ nights before you begin to experience your soul communicating with you. Dreaming is a way we are reminded of the world we cannot see with our “open” eyes. If you do not believe that there is much more than simply the world of ‘form’ that we can see, you remain closed to seeing and discovering what your dream state will offer. Meditations that guide you to open your ‘third eye’ (located at the center of your forehead between your eyes) help by opening and clearing this energy center which is the ‘seat of your soul’; the path between your conscious mind and your unconscious.
And finally, a note on daydreaming….. something that we might all do a little more of…..
Start daydreaming again. (You were ‘good’ at daydreaming in childhood even if you don’t remember so!)
Daydreaming allows you to reconnect with your creative mind; to bring picture images of what you decide into your mind at will. You also may notice spontaneous images start to ‘pop up’ which is a good indication that you are forging a connection with your unconscious. The best part about active daydreaming is that it is always fun!
Namaste everyone!!
